Mad at google?

here is my thinking if your a web developer mad at google for your placement

google is a search engine
for users to search their database of sites for results matching theirs

google is not a marketing feature for your website.. where you can market it on the search results (not counting adwords) for the betterment of your site

Google is more concerned with the users searching their site and coming back, then they are with making sure the websites there are happy with their placement.

google knows if they can keep the customers searching, the websites wanting to rank high will have to continue paying attention to every twist and turn google makes
