How come a lot of pages from my site dont have descriptions or titles on google?

I don't know, I had the same problem with one of my sites and the pages are slowly coming back. One thing that may have helped me was doing a 301 redirect from domain.com to www.domain.com. Also could of just been the fact that my site was down when Googlebot came by.

How do you get domain.com to redirect to www.domain.com? Do I do that via the domain admin panel from the registrar?

You do it by pasting the following code into your .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On 
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^yourdomain\.com 
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.yourdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]

Sweet, thanks, it worked. Is this to keep google thinkin that theres duplicate content?

exactly... Supposedly Google will eventualy figure out that it isn't duplicate content and make the correction but I've heard your site can remain in limbo for several months before it does. I'm making this standard practice for all my sites now and in the future.

Yah I should start adding it to other sites. I wonder if this is why my site lost a lot of indexed pages and good rankings, or do you think getting too many links too fast was the cause?
