Traffic Power Sites Back in Google SERPS

Websites which were previously banned in Google because of Traffic Power's body mouseover doorway pages are now back in the search results. At the same time, many legitimate, theme based websites with lots of original content have been removed from Google's index.

Notice the top two results from this search:

Mighty mysterious ...I just noticed the occurrences this morning.

As far as I know, TP has been removing the "special" pages. As soon as they, or a webmaster removes the offending pages, the site will come back up in google. The sites with their crap are a mess, and take some time to clean-up. TP blew it off for a propect and I ended picking up a customer.

From our perspective, Traffic Power's declaration to remove the pages is about as worthless as a promise from George Bush.

I think you missed my point ...sites which were previously removed from Google's index (because of Traffic Power's unscrupulous SEO techniques) are now back in her index and the search results ...even though the body mouseover pages are still in place.

oh ok. Well that stinks. Why bother to fix this crap if Google doesn't seem to care.

Yes it does stink ...Google has to the "power" to make or break any business out there ...she can take the milk right from your own baby's mouth and never blink an eye.

...even when you play exactly by Google's rules and guidelines, she can still come along and screw you good ...kinda like my ex-wife ...course that's a different story.

I think the reality of it is that Google wants ALL SEO TO SEEM SKETCHY.

By selectively and randomly applying some of the penalties and lifting others they kill off many competing ad networks and companies which screw with their search relevancy.
