Everyone has different experiences mine have not been really good or bad.

Well in that case, I would defiantly say they are evil. There business practices as well
as there support of Internet censorship being prime examples.

Google gets a lot of disrespect from people but they have to make sure that searches return the correct results. Black-hat SEO companies are moaning like crazy, but who really cares what they think? Wear a white hat and promote within the rules and you will still be favoured by the BIG G

Not only do they not "have to" do that, they do not do that.
For Google, quantity trumps quality.
Google is an advertising firm masquerading as an IT services provider.

If I owned Google I would want it user friendly, but also benefit me financially. Probably the goal of most online business. If that is evil, so be it. It does not matter what it is, people will complain about anything. Branding them evil in a thread post makes for good conversation anyway.

Google is FAR from evil.
How dare you talk about the one who knows all like that?  If you think Google is evil why are you still using it? Why are you working on getting you site on their SERP? Why would you contribute to their success?

Why don't Vegans buy animal byproducts? Its because they don't want to contribute to the evil behind it.
