Suggestions for added forums and moderators

I'd like to hear suggestions for more forum topics and moderator assignments.

The forum breakdown you have is pretty darn good! Something that I thought to myself several times on the old board was that there really needed to be a place that was geared more toward the complete web gimps like myself. I've picked up a lot of good things here (there) but some of the most basic things are still greek to me and I fell really dumb asking. A forum specifically for those of us who are completely new to web design might be nice. a "Just starting out" or "first website?" type of forum.

As for mods, I don't know anyone that is qualified

I would like to be mod, but of just one section. Not sure which one though. If you wanna get a software/freeware one up then that would be cool

I agree that there are plenty of forum topics right now. Is there a way that you could make the forum index a bit more compact so it doesn't take so long to scroll between them?

Also.. how about some "inside forums".. like.. only registered members can see the forums.. and no spiders can come there.. so we can post our "illegal" stuff!

Suggestion:

Move the links that move between pages in a thread to the left instead of the right, so that when someone posts a huge image, or something, you can see the page links despite the board being stretched out so much.

This has already caused me plenty of confusion.

I second Braada's suggestion....a forum for those who are really just getting into the whole web design thing ya know...maybe call it Web Beginnings or something with "New to the game? Post here for beginner's guidance" in the description ...i know there's a Web Design lobby already but it's geared more towards having a mid-range knowledge of what you're doing not simply starting out...

also, a forum that emcompasses all programming languages for the server side boys would be cool...

I want to wait a bit, so how things develop, and probably delete a forum or two (the Offline Marketing forum might be merged with the Internet Marketing forum for one "Marketing Forum".)

I think that would be a good idea. There is far less offline marketing done than online marketing, and a good campaign would incorporate elements of both.
