There is a myth on the internet now that if your sites are on the same IP and cross link that Google penalizes you. We are going to put this myth to the test and see if we can Bust it!

I dont think that is the myth. The myth is mainly whether or not the links will count for anything or not.

I seriously doubt Google will ban your test domains there. More than likely one or more will be filtered out with a dup penalty.

They don't ban because of it. They usually don't index as much or rank you well at all. Just switch a few over to a new class C and you can clearly see a change.

Yep interlinking on the same Class C does not penalize you however the links will not count the same as unique Class C and work similar too internal links.

Ip addresses are made up of four groups of numbers, the c-class is the second last one:
207.46.98.132

In this case 98

So these would be on the same c-class:
207.46.98.132
207.46.98.243
207.46.98.354

Where as these would not:
207.46.98.132
207.46.99.243
207.46.97.354
