Individuals who publish misinformation would be subject to libel suits. It could never happen. Also the kind of artificial intelligence involved would be staggering. We're nowhere close to that.

It is admitted at the end that it will be nothing but a network of mostly fabricated info basically, with everyone being a publisher as well as a consumer of information, but it is "what we wanted". LOL

I still find it interesting and thought provoking though, despite it's obvious recklessness.

The other problem is it assumes that everyone involved is willing to become a free lance reporter without pay. That is not a sustainable revenue model. It would be like everyone is wearing a press pass to cover every important event. Not likely.
The media giants will always be there.
