Like the Reuters article, there's the impression given that it's mainly just a few cheating webmasters who are affected, rather than the relevancy of the results themselves.

What a terrible article. Poorly written by someone with a full 5-minutes of research and no bother understanding the issues at all. Although it is nice to finally know what 'Google Dance' means :wink:

I always find it interesting that when you read anything in the press that you actually know a lot about, you find that it is complete bullsh*t - so you have to assume that it also true about just about every article they publish.

Someone once told me that all journalists are either stupid, mean, or lazy - and when you're getting interviewed your job is to figure out which. This writer is some combination of the first and last. I guess I'm glad they got this assignment and weren't asked to cover something important like the war.
