I think there is an update in this month as Google always keep on updating pr lately. But not sure when is the exact date.

Yep my site's PR has updated recently and it is dropped. But need not much worried about PR.

I m agree with martov. i have also install toolbar. This is one of the best tool.But honestly speaking. My site's PR has updated recently and it is dropped.

What does the change mean?

If you search on a particular brand/name you'll often get more than 1 result for the same domain in the SERPs.

e.g. search for v7n and the first 4 results returned are for pages on the v7n domain (this is in addition to site links)
