Google to start new payment system similar to Paypal

Quote:
Online search-engine leader Google Inc. is preparing to introduce an electronic payment system later this year in a move that would pose a financial threat to one of its biggest advertisers, Internet auctioneer eBay Inc.
Cool! Somethings besides Paypal would make Paypal clean up their acts!

Do you have a link for that article?

I do not see how it would pose a financial threat to ebay.

I think they mean Paypal (which is owned by ebay).

Oh, I see. I didn't realize that ebay owned PP. Yeah I can see how it would pose a threat now, unless PP use was required to use ebay, I suppose. And maybe it is, I don't know. If it is required, then I don't think G could hurt the ebay side of the biz much if at all, but it would certainly hurt the non-ebay PP side, I suspect, which indeed would hurt ebay after all, I guess.

Round and round we go ...

I have doubts as to whether ebay really "needs" to advertise through G.

NetAddict is liked by many
Wow, I will love that. Atlast some real competition to PayPal. Will really be beneficial from our point of view.
