Google admitted that it was working on a bug it had found

Before I start I'm sure everyone knows about this but here it is anyway what does it mean or does it mean anything

On Sunday Google admitted to the Washington Post that it was working on a bug it had found which was withholding thousands of legitimate search results from its users. The bug was in response to another bug: Google's susceptibility to being gamed by spammers who set up 'link farms' to tripwire its PageRank? algorithm. "Is Google starting to show signs of strain against spammers and Web scammers?", asked the Post.

If it is related then they could still be trying to fix the bug and there could not be the problem everyone is thinking?

SERPs will never stop.

Since Sept 5th when I started tracking them with the keyword tracker, there was only one day where the 90 keywords I track had no movement.

Well, the only major shifts (more than 20 positions in one day in either direction) I have had since Sept 5th were either new pages brought online or after the Florida update, 5 of our keywords dropped down about 40 places (to probably what they should have been to begin with based on relevancy). Other than that, I've not had any major changes...
