Page rank went up results went down
when they did the last update my page rank went up but my results are dropping off since then - im now placing 5ths and 6ths in previous number 1 spots - anyone got any ideas why ??

PR and rankings should be viewed as two totally different subjects.- IMO

To entertain you Google created PR which I guess, is supposed to give you an idea of how important Google thinks yous site is. If you want some PR then get some links from site that have PR. PR has no relation to your rankings that I have seen.

PR is not that important these days. Try and concentrate on other factors.

Actually PR is important if your optimizing a directory site. Once you have good PR, people will be begging you for inclusion in the directory.
