What does on page and off page search engine optimization all about? Can someone help me out?

Search Engine is divided into the two main category on page seo and off page seo.
On Page SEO Includes.
1. Title tag optimization.
2. Meta tag optimization(keywords and description)
3. Heading tag Optimization.
4. Content Modification.
5. Image Alt tag Optimization.
6. URL rewriting.
Off page SEO includes -
1. Social Bookmarking.
2. Directory Submission.
3. Blog and Forum Posting.

The vast majority refers to on page optimization ...
On page optimization means optimizing the code (html, css, javascript, etc) navigation (menu and website structure - the folder, naming pages) and content (text, images, media )....
Without good on page optimization, there is no good off page optimization...
On page optimization aims to accelerate the response page, the page renders the more readable for search engines...
Key words are crucial for the further off the page optimization, which aims to promote your website ...
