PROBLEM:
1- It does take newer Web sites longer to get the adequate Backwards Links to be competative on the SERPs…
2- New Domains are initially in the worst possible position to compete
(as opposed to an established site simply adding another page)
3- Webmasters who are on a budget may have QUALITY material, and may be tempted to use Linking Software to get some visible immediate progess.
PROPOSAL:
a new catagory for
NEW SITES - you could use the DateRange or what ever technology would be effective (this was tried a couple of years ago).
The NEW SITES category could allow surfers to DISCOVER gems - that have not reached the point of backwards-links success - YET.
This would also help appease honest, quality Webmasters who really are recoiling with the amount of PROMOTIONAL work one has to do or BUY - to get a site competative - and, who would much rather invest that same time and money in doing more research directly related to the sites’ theme, services, or products being offered.
Hmmmm…..
