Google not displaying website - help!

I created a new website: www.poorcreditgenie.com and i have submitted it to google 2X. I have also submitted it to over 40 search engines but so far nothing.

It's been about 1 week. What is the average wait time to see your website displayed by major search engines?

For Google, six months or longer on new sites.

it's best to just get many backlinks.

For newly setup websites, submitting to a few web directories can do wonders in getting indexed fast.

Links Links Links.. the more the better.. and make sure the places that you place your link is rated high itself...
ps. you can place a link on my site.. we also
have a great network of sites that you can list on..

Yep, for fast indexing, get more backlinks. For getting more backlinks submit your site in directories, because of this search engines automatically find & list your site. Also get links from already listed sites. But generally google takes time for listing new sites. So just concentrate on your backlinks.

Build RSS Feed and add it to My Yahoo & Google Personalized Home Page /you need accounts/.
Build a blog for your keywords.
Post comments to different blogs.
Set-up a XML Sitemap.
It works.
