Google & Anchor Text, Again

I just found this odd:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=sevenseek

Google lists:

1. www.sevenseek.com
2. www.sevenseek.com/dir/1025.php
3. www.v7n.com/forums/

It's #3 that I find odd. The v7n forums have a ton of threads with "SevenSeek" in the page titles, and in higher keyword density than the main forum page.

The only reason I can think of this being so is because of anchor text. On all SevenSeek's Add URL pages, there is a link to www.v7n.com/forums/ with the anchor text "SevenSeek Forums".

Another thing I found odd is the intermittent listing of www.v7n.com for "Webmaster Forums", instead of www.v7n.com/forums/

Just found another one in AWstats:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=alexa+reviewed

Google is ranking the v7n home page before the "Alexa Reviewed" page.
