Google not indexing pages from their baby blogger

I created a blogger blog about 5 or 6 days back and submitted sitemap into google webmaster tools. But it is still not indexed by google. I even added the link to my signatures on another forum. I don't have adsense on it yet but one unique article written by me.

I am really curious why google is not indexing their own site's page in their search engine.
Although I have noticed wordpress sites get indexed in google without even submitting.

Do you think adding adsense on such blogger site will index it into search engine. I think so because google bot will crawl it then I think. Need your opinion and advice.

it could take months for new pages.
do some backlink building, that might help.

Wordpress sites that are hosted on private hosts get indexed next day or after a couple of days even without submitting so it is beyond my understanding why blogger blogs take more time.

Suggestion - Submit your website URL into some popular social bookmarking sites. Google will surely index your pages.

I think inserting adsense ads on it can't help you too much. The best effective way is making some backlinks for it from websites which are indexing fast. i.e social bookmarks, article directories and any other website you know which is indexing fast. Also if you have an indexed blog/website, link to your new site from it and it speeds up indexing your new site.

Try doing a few blog comments on other blogs, with your site's URL there
I don't know if this applies to new sites as well, but usually it takes Google 2 days to index a new page within my website

I think the Google Bosses saw this thread and now one page from my blog appears in google index. I will now start adding unique quality articles written by me on that blog and do some article submission too. I am competing for a low competition keyword so I hope I will get some rankings soon doing this. Wish me luck. If you have some real suggestions on getting good rankings more quicker then please feel free to throw them in. Thanks.

See as you specified that you have created your blog about 5 - 6 days back and submitted sitemap in google webmasters also.the thing is sometimes it takes about more than 7 days to index your site in google. Just try submitting your site to high pr social bookmarking sites, and ping your blog with pingomatic sites.

If you use Twitter, you can tweet your new blog and it should get indexed that same time.
