one of the reasons that you are not getting the traffic is either your content is not informative or the search volume for your keywords have got decreased.

i think your keyword has low search volume.in this case you have to try for top 3 position.

If your keywords are on top 5 then you can't expect so much traffic. You need to hit first top three spots as most of the people only see first three or four results. I think your keywords have not much search counts. You'll get traffic as you hit top three spots for these keywords.

Well, I have question that before when I still starting my SEO passion and I have just realize what is my error and that is the keyword I have targeted. I have check the keyword in Google keyword tool and my keyword targeted have good results when it comes to "broad result" but when I switch it to "exact" results, I'm just surprised that the only traffic coming from the keyword is less than 100 and still a high competition. So basically what really important is to do first keyword research before to do link building.

In order to get lots of traffic, how many searches should your targeted keywords get each month for you to be successful?

When doing my keyword research I like to use "Exact" match as my criteria. I know I will see less visitors when doing my research, but it gives me a much clearer picture of the possibilities with that visitor. Using a phrase match is not a decent picture in my eyes. Exact match will convert much better and provide better expectations than a phrase or broad match would.

Google does adapt your personal searches to your google behaviour. Make sure you get the same results for your site on someone else's computer...for example a friend, family...other address. Or use Rankchecker for Firefox to check the position per keyword.

And...are the keywords relevant to the purpose of your site ?
Google is checking relevancy and content thoroughly these days...

Just focus on your off-page like social networking & book marking.

If you are ranking well and not seeing much traffic, how are you determining you have a first page ranking? If you are looking a Google search and are logged into your account, try logging out and re-run the search. With the "personal" stuff G is doing now, you might find the results quite different when you do log out. I found this out the hard way a ways back. SEOCentro has in there set of free online tools a rank checker. Try that as well.

Hi, I have had a look at your site and I would just like to make a respectful comment. Although you have a professional looking site, the English grammar is not very good. I think that maybe people who do visit your site might be put off by this.
If you want any hints on where the grammer is wrong then PM me.
