I'm not exactly sure what you are getting at, but it does look like G may be blocking the results. Maybe tomorrow things will look different, but for now, it is starting to look grim. Makes me wonder why they would do this now...with this contest...what are they scared of? Is it because there is a cash prize? Do they just want to win the battle over the SEOs? Maybe I need to go find some army boots. Things might start getting hairy soon.

I do not believe that G is blocking the results, it only shows that Yahoo is a lot faster picking up internet content and serving it to the public.

Yahoo MSN and Ask Showing Results - but NOT Google
Come Now,
Also WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT BACK LINKs - just queries
which is why the first example was shown - a slight difference shows dozens of results - in other words this was programmed - but not every loophole was considered..
The only ones that are slipping through on occassional refreshes are the Google Base additions.

I think this might answer a few Questions you might have...
This link might explain a little more about google and answer your questions...
Google maintains a wide range of datacenters, and many times when they are working on new algorythm they test it on different ones.
While not by any means complete, here's a starting list of alternates to test your stuff on. Because these are IP addresses, any cookie blocking you may have in affect against Google, which you should have, will not work. We recommend turning off cookies when doing search engine result checking. Use Firefox browser's 'web developer s toolbar' for convenient control over cookies etc.

If you look at the results of the other contest, Google shows an update on the other data centers! Depends on if the 13,000 extra pages were crawled before or after Sunday. I would give it another day or two before becoming a conspiracy theory freak!

I must admit, I was a tad bit worried myself. But Google's just slooower than molasses these days. Kudos to Yahoo for fast indexing.

Google never omits results, unless legally required to, or spam.

The only sites we omit are those we are legally compelled to remove or those maliciously attempting to manipulate our results.

There was definitely something up - Google Engineers read Blogs and Google SEO forums - and saw this Thread and outer-court's...
It would be impossible for these extreme results to happen without an update - IMPOSSIBLE...
form ZERO to 12,000 - no way
They found the programming flaw and rectified it
neither YaHOO nor MSN is faster to reflect changes in SERPs than Google
SO IN OTHER WORDS ! ! SAVED THE CONTEST...
again, ! ! SAVED THIS CONTEST
- worship ! !

I think Google is bigger than that. It's all the seo guys trying to put fear into people's hearts. I bet you Google is having fun watching this. Of course ... they would never admit to it
