Does Google really care about our privacy?

Just viewed an interesting video presentation and thought it would be worthwhile sharing.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you dont have Flash installed.

What do you think of that? What about Facebook, in some cases they have more data than Google.

I just watch this video. It has just over reacted on Google services. Its talk about the Gmail & relevant text. If we are using free email service then it will be & every free services need to earn from it. if we concerned about our privacy then we should use some premium emails.
Google already mentioned in its privacy policy that it do not collect data from gmail, it is automatic software which target relevant ads and Google do not share any type of information outside... Google know that everything is on trust else, people may stop using Google services...

Well, at least facebook has its privacy settings. The owner has the full control if he/she likes his/her profile to be viewed by other people. Also in Facebook, there's an option there that even google can't release your profile in a query if the owner wished not to.

You guys are missing the point here. Facebook privacy settings are to prevent other internet users to view your personal stuff. In this case No one can see your personal Gmail, files or photos.

The video is talking about the company (Google) it self looking at our personal data also co-operating with security agencies (sharing with them).
