Google are strange in my eye's really dont see whats going on
Google are strange in my eye's really dont see whats going on
I have two websites in this SEO contest and i dont do any black hat, there on old domains and google finely picked one up yesterday and ranked it on page 25 it was a website i wasnt even trying to get ranked but they did it any how.
any way today i have looked and its been unindexed and gone from any rankings also my other site hasnt even been indexed yet.
so my questions are:
is any one else having these problems?
does any one have any views on why google do this?
LOL and anything else that some one wants to say. I could understand it if my domain name was new but there about 6-7 months old well one of them, i see to have this problem alot with google on all my websites but when i come to do some one elses website and i help them get indexed i can get them indexed in 24 hours most of the time
also my g/f website that i am building at the moment google havent even indexed that right an i keep trying to sort it
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ww.klitrus.com
what is all that about

madkad, don't worry about that. If your site is new, is absolutely normal to happen this. Linkbuilding and some days and Google will crawl you. Just make sure you don't do something stupid.
about datacenters, with some searches are very important, so when this happens to you, you can check across datacenters to see if only a problem with your datacenter.

they have links the one that is klitrus isnt up and running yet and im not bother about that yet but the others have links and are gaining more
one of my sites rank 1 in yahoo and msn for my main keywords but isnt in the top 500 places in google i dont even think its in the top 1000 places but its hard to check that deep it have over 11,000 backlinks and rising
i am just really starting to think google work in weird ways even with this SEO contest i have noticed google have ranked websites high that are not that good then ranked the good ones low (im not saying my sites are any good by saying this)

well madkad.com is the main one i have problems with but its the same with all my sites mostly
and about klitrus.com, yer it does look like that but its not got any redirect i have contacted google on the problem as my webmaster mates recon that its a google flaw and not a good one as its an adult website and thats why its been placed on hold cos i dont want my madkad.co.uk website to get bad places if google dont like it but then again google will not even rank my madkad.co.uk when all the other SE's do

madkad.com: no links to be seen in google nor Yahoo. Give it some links and should be indexed. surely contest will help you.
klitrus.com: I tried to access like googlebot also, and saw your http headers. Seems as you had a redirect before, what I can say is that currently I see no redirect. Yahoo hasn't problems with that, but it hasn't links, give it more links.
madkad.co.uk: reduce if you want title tag, choose between www and nonwww and redirect it. It has a good number of links, not big, but not little. Check if you're in Sandbox.

You maybe don't, but a search engine thinks www.mydomain.com and http://mydomain.com are different domains, cause in fact are in different subdomains. This can report you a duplicated content issue. To fix that:
-Choose if you want your site to be with www or without.
-Place a 301 redirect in the subdomain you won't use. To do this:
If you choose the nonwww form, add this code to your .htaccess:
Code:
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} .
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^domain\.com$
RewriteRule (.*) http://domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
But if you like www form, then place this code:
Code:
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.domain.com
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=permanent,L]

I have not enough time, please somebody help him, but basicly, if you are not in top 200 with normal search (use google.com/ie to check it faster), but you are in Top 20 with allinanchor:keyword and with keyword -dahdladlhfhldfahldhldaffhldfakhfddflah, then you maybe are in sandbox, but as I said, this is not exactly the best way to check it, cause i've no time.

you're in Sandbox, I would say, but still you need more links to be high.
You need that code to make your nonwww links rank your www, if you don't use it, then you will be loosing that links.

You can't place a .htaccess? What kind of a reseller account do you have? You should have no problem
