Site 10 days old, 3 pages and still under development. Will have 100 - 200 pages each targeting a particular group with relivant keyword phrases for each targeted group..

I run analysis reports daily on all my client's sites.
I spend 4 X the time on analysis than the actual marketing....

I am well aware of of what the "positions" are and every competitor's postions, and even what those who are not curently listed are doing.

No client need ask "Have you seen this site?"

Ill show you guys a keyword my seo buddy worked on for 4 months and got it into google's top 10 for a keyword thats searched 3 to 5 million times a month. Its right up there with companies competing for the same keyword . These companies are yahoo, msn and many others. You guys will flip when u see it. Out of respect for the client i cant show but in pm's, and he does it at reasonable prices and you can even verify with his client. Let me know when u see it if this is a world class keyword or not.

Excellent point. I have the top 3 positions on the same page for a search that happens about 3 times a year.

For those that are new to SEO, many of us won't mention our keywords because we don't want V7n to suddenly be competing against those phrases, and we don't want other SEOs to go... oh yeah I bet I can beat him, then start eating away at our cake. I'm sure there are others reasons, but that's why I'm keeping my big keywords hush hush.

Two keywords I don't mind sharing are for my work safe personal blog. I threw up a quick wordpress blog at the request of my manager (who's no longer with the company) who wanted me to prove to her higher ups that I knew my stuff. Lots of political stuff went on that I won't get into here, but what end up happening was I got tee'd off at one of the other managers and I said sure, I'll prove that I can rank. I then went after their product with my dumb little WP blog. A jerk move I know, but I think it got my point across.

Anyway, the company is Advanced Access. Their product is called the Virtual Office. My work blog is cdaniele.wordpress.com. I focused on two phrases: "Advanced Access SEO" and "Advanced Access Virtual Office" (without quotes). To any real SEO looking at that site, you'll notice I didn't do much... I basically just proved that AA doesn't have great seo and that any WP site can rank with them with very little trouble. And to the manager that I know who'll be reading this (thank you google alerts) na na na na naaa.

Both phrases rank in the top five.
