V7N > DigitalPoint??

This makes no sense...I was in my computer class earlier today and I just searched in Google for "Webmaster Forum" and joined a few....Then an astounding thing popped up in my face, I saw V7N Forums 2 positions higher than DigitalPoint!!

But how is this possible if DP has a higher PR than V7N?? (DP has PR8 and V7N has PR6 or PR5)

PR has very (very little) effect on SERP (at least IMHO)

Its simple serp effect....

Check that "Webmaster Forum" two time occured in v7n... unique Title as well as description, and in Dp title they spread with more anothers keywords.

Agree with Sagbee, "webmaster forum" is pretty much what John appears to focus on as the target keyphrase. Simply more proof to me that Google lends A LOT of weight to <title> tag keywords.

My riddle site sucks for "riddles" but "best riddles" it's number 5 in google and is only a month old.

I don't really care about "webmaster forum" as a keyword. I tend to focus more on doing things that keep our members happy and build the v7n brand, more than SEO.

But definitely and I honestly I belive that V7N forums is much better than DP, DP is full of lots of angry moderators and people who just keep giving you infractions without any cause.

Here, at V7N people are more helpful and friendly and even the admin. John is is also cool. Thats why I spend my most of time on this forum.
