Google creates the opportunity for spammers
Since 'spammed by goooooogle' started their 'asdsense' program, I found more and more spammers in my logs, on blogs, using register bots, etc, not to mention spam results in searches.
In my view it's google who has created a load of irritation for website owners and internet surfers simply because of their greed for money.
Look at this site: education.b3ch.net
Google makes tons of dollars from those sites and the only reason they are build and spamming/polluting the internet is because Google wants to make some cash and gives spammers the opportunity.
Google-dudes, you guys suck!

I agree with you that Adsense has injected life into the "crap website" market. It also has devalued the Internet and brought down the advertising rates everywhere.

yep, the internet was a much better place, less annoying for surfers and less annoying for website owners who get spammed before 'spammed by gooooooooogle' started polluting the net and the joy of everyone, except for those profiteurs of course.
I really think that goooooogle should do something about that problem that they created themselves, for one, I do not understand that they allow spammers to have adsense on their sites.
...well, I do understand, it brings them tons of money but they are a worthless bunch of a$$holes to be like that.
Funny that. To bring back non-spammed search results all they have to do is filter out their own 'spammed by gooooooogle' ads and their serps gain quality.

I'd rather have google ads on a site than pop-ups.

To say this about Google you'd have to say it about ALL internet advertising. It all causes people to build sites just to make money. Google adsense only sped up the inevitable.
If it weren't PPC it would be affiliate links.

Sure, but that's not what we are talking about. The issue is that gooogle has made these kind of sites profitable to make:
http://education.b3ch.net
Since google ads entered the internet, people's logs, people's blogs, everything gets spammed, even their own serps and the immoratity of it is that they make huge profits on those spammers.
That's the issue. Google has no ethics and are a bunch of greedy bastards.

I completely agree. What responsible ad network lets people run their ads on a site they've never even laid eyes on? Personally I'd be happy to forgo the ability to instantly place ads on additional sites if Google were to start checking Adsense requests on a per-site basis and not just only declining spam sites but removing them from the SERPs too.
Not gonna happen though.

No, no, no. (!)
I can sell banner ads to advertisers for $600 a month now. I used to sell banner ads to advertisers for $1,000 a month. Google Adsense has lowered advertiser revenue across the board.
And nobody would pay to put banner ads on scraper sites. But now Adsense allows scraper sites to turn a revenue, so scraper sites are popping up at unheard of rates. In fact, the worse the site the higher the Adsense CTR, so it pays off to have crap content. Conversely, it is unprofitable to have the quality content that searchers are looking for.

You hit the nail on the head here. It is every ad network's moral and ethical duty to protect the integrity of both their clients who pay to advertise and their own busyness.
What we are witnessing now with gooogle is that they just don't care who carries their ads, as long as it brings them cash.
This is in a very sharp contrast with their claims of giving 'quality' search results and all their other claims of ethical values.
Remind that this is the same company that gives away 2+GB of space to people for their personal emails.

I can't help but agree 100%. I have never seen so much crap facilitated by Google. The search results have gone to hell as well with top sites being Adsence link sites.

John,
I think you have updated the script since I last looked at my settings. I didn’t even know about it.
