Ive been banned by google.
Hi everyone,
My website seems to have been banned by google. I have lost 70% of the traffic overnight.
Can anyone shead any light as to what I have done wrong? I cant submit a reinclusion request until I can identify what I have done wrong.

What do you mean by banned? Are you talking about ranking rather than banning?

As in my site is no longer showing in the google index. I went from 800+ pages to: "Your search did not match any documents."

If it is the flower site, I can certainly see why they banned you.
Text spam bro.
Do a count and see how many times the word 'flower' appears on your home page. Just at a quick glance, I'm guessing 200 times.

Point taken. I have just counted 180 instances of the word flowers on my homepage.
Its a hard word to avoid for a website that sells flowers and contains info only about flowers. I have pages for "flower facts", "flower uses", "flower meanings", not to mention 500+ "flower arrangements" or "flower bouquets".
I think almost all of my outbound links have the word flower in there somewhere too.
I could see how google could not rank me highly for the term "flowers" as a result of this. But? Do you think google would suddenly decide to drop me completely from its index beacuse of this? I dont!

Question:

I still see a cached copy of your index. You don't typically see that when a site is banned.

This is what worries me the most. Before last week google wouldnt have recognised the double hyphen in my domain. Google would have automatically replaced it with a single hyphen. As soon as I was able to used googles site: and link: commands with my domain I got dropped.

I'm 100% sure that this is the reason they dropped you.
You also have a lot of spelling mistakes that you should fix before re-inclusion request too, there are about 20.
Im -> I'm
Handtied -> 2 words not one
weve -> we've
And double words everywhere!! Those are seen as major spam.

Spelling mistakes don't get pages removed from Google. If misspellings got pages removed, this forum would be gone.

LOL. I know that.
But it is wise before he does a re-inclusion request to fix them. This is straight out of Matt Cutt's mouth, not mine.
And double words ARE detected as spam, which could get you dropped.

Check the cache on the domain with www added. Looks like it's there to me.

I don't know what to tell ya man. First, give it some time. I would clean up your sig links, too. IT looks to me like you're trying to Google bomb for "sending flowers". Make it more natural. Just my

Should I completely remove my site from my signature on all the forums?

I couldn't tell ya, because I don't know if that is the cause of it. It might be a good idea to get better quality links and cut down on the low-quality link building.

Well I have cleaned up a few elements of my site I have been told were dodgy.
302 redirections. I was using redirects to track outbound links so I could build product popularity data. This functioality has now been removed.
W3 backlink. Aparantly I was cloacking w3 to get a backlink. I am not sure how to cloak andything but rest assured I am not doing it now.
Broken product links. I have devised a link checking mechanisum. All of the products displayed on my site should now be valid.
I have submitted a reinclusion request to G. I was thinking is it worth me dropping the domain and starting again?
