Someone explain this BS
The site ranked #1 on google for live sex has been there for years without moving. I have a blog targetted for the same keyword and I have twice as many IBL's and my site has been up a long time. That site never changed or updated at all either.

What's my site ranked on google? Who freakin knows. I get board after looking through 100 pages down the line.

The age of the links to the other site is probably the cause of it getting a higher ranking.

Could it not be simply the quality of the link. You may have more links than them, but if they have links from authority websites, or sites with good PR, lower outgoing links on the page etc.

For one keyword I am #1 and have 2 links pointing to the page, one from a .gov page, compared to my competitor who has many more links pointing to his page.
