PR6 with no backlinks?
Can anyone shed light on this for me or am I completely missing the plot?

The following site www.tanandglow.co.uk has a PR of 6 and yet it would appear that it has no inbound links. How can that be?

It has 2 on msn. Look outside the Google "Link" command before posting.

PR has left the building.

Pay very little, if no attention to it. My site has a PR6 and I can assure you it no way deserves it (a few links from free directories and a 2 from PR3 sites).

Sorry, my mistake , I knew about those links but I was wondering why there wasnt a lot of inbound links. I'm taking onboard what you're saying about PR not being that important but I'm still curious as to how a site with only 7 pages and a handful of links gets a PR of 6. Why would Google rate that site so?

Because you only need a couple of links from PR7 sites to give you a Toolbar PR of 6. However the site will still rank poorly compared to a PR5 site with many more links.

Yep - tons of pages within the forum itself link to that page.

Yahoo shows 165 or so links to that page.
