Google concerns about IE search box

Mozilla certainly aren't doing Google any favours for free. Mozilla Foundation are a penniless open source software distributor but their commercial wing, Mozilla Corporation most definately aren't.

According to this report, http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/03...e_mozilla_tax/ Google account for 76% of Mozilla Corp's estimated earning figures of $72m.

Google have made informal complaints to competition authorities around the world regarding IE7's MSN Search integration probably because Microsoft are a bit partial to the odd few hundred million dollar euro fine and believe they have a good chance of getting them in trouble again.

It is case of the pot calling the kettle black.

I personally think MSN is not very good search engine and Microsoft has to improve credibility of MSN and then they wouldn't need even defaulting it and people will change default even in firefox to MSN.

I also fail to see why Google should complain. They also have the option to change the change your browser's searchbox to google search when you install the Google toolbar and I don't see Microsoft complaining about that.

The older Google becomes, the more grumpy they get.
