How come the age of the domain doesn't show up in google SEO for firefox?

I'm thinking of buying an aged domain. Never done it before. I'm looking at http://www.aged-domain-finder.com and also the godaddy domain auctions, they have a list of aged domains, but when u check it in google using SEO for firefox, it doesn't show up. How can i get a real aged domain so i can rise in page rank faster?

Try Mozilla WebRank Toolbar - Pagerank, Alexa, Pages Indexed and Backlinks add-ons hope your problem would be solved. This tool bar has a button named whois by which u could check domain details along with age

Most whois sites will let you know the age of the domain (domaintools.com) is a good source. However, be aware that if that domain was penalized by Google in the past you will have a hard time getting it removed. Check archive.org and look at the code to see if they were doing anything shady.

To add onto the above posters response, buying a aged domain won't always give you good rankings for long. If you put up a brand new site on the aged domain, you still have to get quality backlinks to get rankings and continue to get backlinks to maintain/improve your ranking.

Since it'll be a dropped domain, once you put up a website, the existing backlinks the domain has won't do nothing for you at all and soon disappear.

When purchase a age domain, all inter page linking juice is drop to zero. Perhaps you can create similar content and page structure, else it will not help for ranking nor retain PR.

If Google ranking can be easily manipulate by purchase age domain, I am sure lot of webmaster can easily benefit it.

Do not burden yourself. Try to check your site in other SEO tools. There are lot of accurate tools you can use on the internet.

Regarding SEO with Firefox, this is probably a cache issue specific to FireFox; just clear your browser or use an external third party site like domaintools etc.
