How long can a domain name be? I was just curious as to how many sucks could it equal up to. Referring to google-sucks-sucks-sucks-sucks-sucks. People who make them sites probably got the boot for clicking their own ads..

No. You can't sue someone for disliking you, or saying bad things about you. You can only sue someone for slandering/libeling you, and you can only recover actual damages.
You can't sue someone for incorporating your company name in their domain name. However, it is not legal to impersonate another person or company, if you are not that person or company.

You can sue somebody for saying bad things about you if they are untrue. It's called defamation. (There are two kinds of defamation - slander, if spoken; libel if written.)

Not true. Many states allow punitive damages in defamation cases.

You can, if it is confusingly similar.

Oh yeah, it sucks
I have had a #1 site on google for a VERY long time, years
neilslade.com/Papers/Painting.html
its been 1, 2, 3 in the rankings for "how to paint your car" "how to paint a car" "paint your car" "paint your car'
I make nearly my entire living on the page-- thank you Google, SORT OF
But THREE TIMES NOW, the page for no reason I can determine whatsoever, it just COMPLETELY VANISHES from this search and is replaced by big business corporate pages for car painting.
It takes a week to reappear-- this time, its been over 10 days, and still nothing.
Yahoo search? I remain #1 Ask.com search I remain #1
So why the google screw up, eh? What causes the #1 search engine to suddenly lose a very popular site, and yet the site remains in its place in other engines?
Here's another small business that has had exactly the same problem
elliottback.com/wp/archives/2006/02/14/google-sucks-it-just-sucks/
So-- Does Google Suck? Well, you explain it. For small business people, and in my case my BREAD AND BUTTER and HEAT depend on the reliability of the Google search engine-- this month, I am out hundreds, if not thousands of dollars because of either a mechanical/digital screw up at Google, or a more sinister one.
You figure it out--my business is suffering in the meantime.

Finally got the link back up-- it took over a month. Can't even know why it reappeared- didn't break any rules. It just vanished-- so apparently, this is part of Google-- expect your search link to vanish from time to time.
Google is particularly slow at updating the cache, and recrawling the site for updates-- we've been watching this for some time. No explanation, except that its so huge anymore, there's no way around it. Yes, we've optimized the site with all the Google Webmaster tools. Lot's of bugs in Google.
Ever try to use adwords, or adsense? Totally anti-intuitive. They may have a search engine that works, they may sell lots of ads, but using their interface is next to impossible without lots of practice.
Anyone see the street level Google Map Cameras? Can we say "invasion of privacy"-- "will do anything for money?"
Shameful beyond words.

You could be a victim of 302 Page Redirect.

Since there is virtually no support for anyone listed on Google- despite the fact that they USE everyone's links and web page URLs to generate their own revenue via the search engine and all of it's advertising schemes- anyone seeing their site dropped for any unexplainable reason- except for violating Google's "rules"-- will simply be ignored, and there is no recourse except to cross your fingers and wait, and perhaps resubmit the URL to Google through a search engine submission program, or perhaps through their own URL Submission form-- although I've heard from SEO people that this is not a particularly good way to go, especially more than once.
Through a very long process the site has been optimized, and our search engine results are up there again, and I remain #1 on Yahoo--- and close to the top on similar Google Searches.

[Snipped]
Guess you summed it all.
It is only a matter of time when someone gets too big for the clothes they wore when they were small.
Some people are lucky because their parents bought whatever clothes they wanted. Now they do not know how to shop for themselves.
Some people learn how to shop without the help of their parents and think they are above their parents.
