How do I delete the history in my google tool bar?

Okay, so I know how to delete the history and other things from the browser. But, how do I delete the google tool bar history? I don't like it when people look through when I've typed. I went to tools and to internet options and it says delete. But, that's not what I am looking for. What can I do to delete the history from the google tool bar without taking the tool bar off?

To clear your Google Toolbar search history, click the drop-down arrow on the Toolbar search box, and click Clear History.

I prefer to use CCleaner and it does really good job at cleaning everything with 1 button.

yes buddy i also prefer cCleaner for this purpose and in tools options history is also deleted
