Supplemental Pages
If you have a website with a page that has page rank N/A, then one of reasons could be that the webpage is a supplemental page?
The reason that I ask the questions is that I have a website that has a page that is indexed, (it appears in google search).
However, the page rank tool I use shows N/A instead of the normal - 0, 1, 2, 3, 4

I think 0 is an actual rank that needs to be achieved. I googled for this particular form post and it is indexed in google, but its a "?" rather than a "0" on my PR tool.

Page Rank
Google gives PR ranges 0-9. If a web page has 0 PR that means Google give the page a very little authority. N/A means that the site has no authority for Google.

Do not believe in your SEO Toolbar so easily, that tool doesn't dictate the fate of your website. Besides, ranking is not the sole purpose of SEO, rather to help a website stand in the wild field of internet and help it generate traffic and links organically. Sorry I cannot give you the real reason why that page having PR N/A, don't loose hope, keep doing what is right. Soon enough you will reap what you so and what's due to you will be given in due time.
Here's my quoted reply in the closed thread: Is PR 0 and PR N/A different?

When the Toolbar PageRank display shows a gray bar, Data Not Available, it has traditionally meant that either Google has not indexed the page yet or the site has been penalized. Within the past year, however, Google has been making changes to PageRank which leaves many pages gray-barred that are indexed. It's been difficult to determine the status of these pages. It's largely been link exchange pages, and other low-quality pages that have been in this in-between status. At present, all you can assume is that a page with a gray bar is unlikely to be able to pass PageRank to any other pages. Good luck!

Worry about your PR? Think again ...

Q: My site's PageRank has gone up / gone down / not changed in months!
A: Don't worry. In fact, don't bother thinking about it. We only update the PageRank displayed in Google Toolbar a few times a year; this is our respectful hint for you to worry less about PageRank, which is just one of over 200 signals that can affect how your site is crawled, indexed and ranked. PageRank is an easy metric to focus on, but just because it's easy doesn't mean it's useful for you as a site owner. If you're looking for metrics, we'd encourage you to check out Analytics, think about conversion rates, ROI (return on investment), relevancy, or other metrics that actually correlate to meaningful gains for your website or business.

Google is saying higher is the PR more frequently they visit and index/reindex the web page. Manipulating the Google's PR s harder and harder nowadays.

Do you have any real information regarding the frequency of visits based on Page Rank?

The only people concerned by the Google page rank is the link sellers. The buying links are in violation of Google TOS.
