Malware warning webmaster tools and google search

I woke up today checked my bank relaized my earning had dropped by 50% I found out google had branded my site as malware, I use clicksor I think this is the problem but clicksor pay me better than any other company so I will still use them. I know they have lots of malware ads I guess this is why they can afford to pay good money.
Anyway I have removed clicksor for now until google review my site, but how long does this normally take?

Wink

I guess, if you indeed removed the malware you can submit your site for consideration. However, I would check here Google Malware Review.

Hope this will help.

I dont really understand because if it is clicksor the whole site should be branded as malware because clicksor is on every page not just one. Does anyone else use clicksor? and has done for a few months? Have you had this warning?

I haven't used them in over a year. Have you actually got in contact with there support staff and talk to them about this?

They could lose business if people spread the word about malaware on there site. This isn't good for them at all and they need to run security threat checks before a advertiser ad get's approved.

Its done Google did a review of my site and now they said the malware has been removed. I did get in contact with clicksor but they have not got back to me yet.

All i did was remove clicksor until google checked my site, i also removed the page which they flagged and that was it, after they did the review i added clicksor script back to my site and all is good again.

Thanks snakeair

I have recently acquired a website that was running clicksor ads, I changed the design and everything - not using clicksor anymore since their ads are full of malware even though they pay alright.

I added the site in webmaster tools and I got malware message as well.

My question for you is, my site is a torrent type site / blog - should I request a review from google anyway?

I'm a bit scared they won't accept it, what is your take on this, and what type of site did you have?

I have a few sites in the torrent niche but not giving users the ability to download torrents mine are more torrent information sites. I don’t use Google on any sites that are on a fine line if you know what I mean? I use Google on sites that target legit topics I have adult sites with no adult content whatsoever just targeting adult keywords but I don’t use Google on these.

If I had a fresh Google account and I wasn’t really worried about losing it I would go for it, but I have too many sites using Google to risk it on fine line sites, These sites I use Clicksor in my opinion it’s the second best to Adsense, yes I got a malware warning because of clicksor but I just removed the clicksor code got Google to review it and it was OK, but I was not using Google ads on that site.

If you are using Adsense on the site it might not be the best idea, but start off on the right foot and you will not always be looking over your shoulder, I am always worried about Google closing my Adsense account.

I am not really bothered about my sites though they are just quick traffic blogs if you have put a lot of time and effort into them I am not sure about clicksor, the only reason I use them is because they pay me over $2 per 1000 uniques for UK traffic not always but around that figure, I can’t complain at that, other sites like citika and bidvertizer were a complete joke for me I am not joking I sent chitika about 50,000 uniques from uk search traffic and get less than $1

The malware warning did not really effect my ranking, it dropped to not in top 100 for a few days but now its back with very little work. I weigh up the pros and cons and clicksor is still my number one choice for sites like that, I am on my third malware warning this month from using clicksor but those sites are still earning good money so I don’t worry about it, just remove the code get them to review it and you will be fine. Mine took just a few hours to get reviewed. If you get lots of traffic I guess yours will be the same.
I removed the code and deleted the infected page then requested the review that did the job on all 3 warning this month.
