hell, I will have a blind, wild stab in the dark too. I reckon tomorrow.
Do people still care about PR?

Your kidding right ?
Most people trading links won't trade with me unless I give up some PR.... Those people are blind fools. I've got this site: www.webfu-design.com - peppered with PR5's and fours. I built a new directory there - www.webfu-design.com/archives - however link traders stay clear of it like the plague because it's new and has ZERO pr.
More experienced people have a nack for being able to see good site structure, and if it's relevant - it's on. They'd be down to trade... but the rookies... oh man. Forget about it....

this is it, PR only means something to people that want to buy/sell/trade a link.
I have a PR6 site which doesnt receive anywhere near the traffic one would expect of a PR6 site but it's a great bargaining tool.

I noticed Google PageRank jumping around a bit yesterday too DarrenC.
I'll say PageRank updates before the end of June.

Google likes surprises and also tend to sometimes be partial to holidays ... remebmer the "Google Days of Gray" during Memorial Day weekend May '04?
Based on my schoddy guess work, I'd predict the week during the July 4th holiday in the U.S. ....

Some people told that the update is taking part now and they even got an update these days. Weird, nothing changed for me though I expected something to.

Google does like holidays. New Years Eve Day 2005 there was a big PR change. I liked that one...
I wouldn't be surprised if Google does do a big PR update AND switches up the Algorithms on the 4th of July. I can just imagine it now, everyone will call it the 4th of July update.

How about a contest on guessing the right date of the PR update?
The winner would get a good price...
Right now lot people lost , the 4th is over and no ongoing pr udpate.
