I think that we've all had problems with the poor results generated by contextual advertising. With all the webmasters out there trying to aggregate clicks any way they can, it seems hard to not get ripped off. I know that a lot of people have just given up on contextual advertising. We’ve found a way, however, to use Google's Site Exclusion feature to develop a process that enables us to identify poor traffic sources and eliminate them from our campaigns.
We have had such great results with this process that we decided to share it. Our white paper includes a detailed description of some of the problems with contextual advertising as well as PHP and ASP versions of the script that we use to achieve and maintain our high conversion ratios.
We'd love to hear feedback and see if any of you have any ideas on how to further develop the process.
