Spam Sites in Google Results

Hi,

I started using a browser plugin called SiteAdvisor. This plugin warns you spammy sites in Google search results. Very often, warnings show up in both the natural search results and sponsored results.

I know people who got spyware by clicking on Google search results. Is Google addressing this? It looks really bad when the bad sites show up in the sponsored results. In other words, Google makes money while users get scammed by spammers.

What do you mean by spammy sites ?

I don't think so there are any spam sites in google's index let alone the top results. The few spam sites that you might have seen must be temporary.

You can report "spammy" sites on google's own spam report page:

http://www.google.com/webmasters/sit...amreport?hl=en

It sure is annoying sometimes. You search for something that can not be connected to any other keywords and all you get is keyword spam.
