Do you have a speculation about when Google will update?
  • Do you think there has been a backlinks update?
  • Do you think there has been a PR update?
  • Are you seeing Google fluctuations?
  • Do you think there has been an algorithm update?

You may want to start with a basic understanding about Google updates before posting in this thread.

Due to authority link building & content optimization my clients websites Google PR raised by 0 to 2, 0 to 1, 1 to 2 & 4 to 5.

Now again working hard and waiting for the next PR update

False.

The only things that counts towards a page's PR are:
  • the PR of the pages that link to it; and;
  • the total number of links on each such page.

Yes PR of the page counts when having an inbound link, but the Page with high PA & DA also values somehow, isn't it?

And may also the Webpage Content also matters, because there are some Webpages of my clients for which I never did any link building, even though those got Google PR 1 which was initially 0.

Also I am with some forums where initially they had PR 0 for various sub-forums pages and now the PR has raised to 2.

So, there may somehow content also matters for increasing Google PR for any Website.

Nope.

The mathematical function which defines PageRank is

where:
p_1, p_2, ..., p_N are the pages under consideration;
M(p_i) is the set of pages that link to p_i;
L(p_j) is the number of outbound links on page p_j;
d is the so-called damping factor; and,
N is the total number of pages.

Note that the only factors present there aside from d, which is a probability value, are raw counts of pages and links.

Well, I can just say thanks for explaining the factors which are related to increase the Google PageRank for any Website.

But, still I guess content matters, and to support this there are many articles written by professionals.

You can go through these articles:

Sites do not have PageRank; only individual pages do.

Content matters only to the extent that it induces others to create a link from their page to yours, which the overwhelming portion of users cannot do.

Yes, that's true.

Now finally we can conclude that Webpages with quality content can get high quality links and thus have the chances to have better Google PageRank.

Right?

I had PR 2 and now I've PR 3. I wish Google would have shared the decimal points for the PR too. So, for those of you who have your PR improved, it might have been just an slight move. For example, I might had the 2.97 PR and now I'm at 3.01. Maybe I shouldn't really celebrate then!

I'm currently taking my own 30 day + whatever challenge. I just reformatted my computer and did not install the tool bar plug in. I'm going to only base my goals on traffic and conversion. It's kind of nice not to have to think about PR, especially since it doesn't really matter. Why worry about something if you don't have to? There's only so much brain power to go around. IMO.

Right?
A review of the presented mathematical function that defines PR shows that pages with "low quality" content and lots of "low quality" links can also attain a high PR.
