Any idea when Google will be releasing their pay per action campaign?

its a pretty amazing concept. bascially its like signing google up to be one of my affiliates!

The main reason I don't like PPA (from a publisher's perspective) is this: If the merchant has a poorly designed site and/or UI, it can lead to poor conversions. So even if you are sending them highly qualified leads, they may only close a very small % of them because of problems on their end.

so why does that bother you?
just make sure you site is well designed.

because you will be delivering ads on your site that have require user actions before getting paid. Those user actions are not developed by you, they are developed by the person running the ad onto your site.

if the person developing the ad and the required user action does a piss poor job, then you may not get as good of click thoughs as if it was designed well... all of which you have very little control of.

ahh yes i didn't think of it from that point of view. i don't host ad words on any of my sites so it wasn't even a consideration of mine.

I tried to run image ads once... all seemed fine until one day when I saw the ugliest banner ever get served to my graphic tutorial site. I took the image part down right then.

I wonder the same thing about these ads. I want to see them in action.

Most exclusive Google betas take abouta month or two before they officially come out. That is unless they get hit with a serious problem. But personally PPA ads are not that much of performers.
