Looks like almost all of my sites have stayed the same so far. Makes it kinda hard to tell if there has been a PR update or not.

Sweet,,, all my new directory pages got PR4.
It is kind of a half ass update. Only new pages or sites that made the window got PR. No changes to report on homepages that already had PR.

I think its only new sites and the new sites that got really high PR's last update. (Ie. The new ones from the previous update) Thus we aren't seeing any changes on well established sites.

Getting a pr3 is easy, increasing it after your site gets pr is the harder part. Google seems to only show love to sites that are pr0. (there are exceptions of course). This update and the last one, most established sites didn't budge while pr0 sites went to 4-5-6. I don't get it, nor am I beginning to care anymore. I think PR is losing its value more and more with each pr update. Just my opinion, although it could be sour grapes on my part.

I'm begginning to agree with you on that one. I'm close to geting over the PR fixation.. which probably means I'm going to be a netter webmaster in the future.. (I hope!)..

I had a PR5 drop to a PR4. Other than that site, no changes for me.

Was the PR5 gained on the 04/04 update ?
If yes, than this update only rectified the fake PR assigned then.

How difficult would a PR 6 - PR 7 be and views ?
As that my plan for FY 06 or atleast mid FY 07.

weird.. my homepage with 79 backlinks from google stays PR2 while my secondary pages went to PR5. Are they done with the update? any ideas of why they would not increase rank of the homepage??

Most likely because this update mimics the last, ie already PR'd pages receive no update, just new ones.

It definatly looks like they have only updated new pages or sites.
Is this to slowdown the selling of links? I don't think so, but it's weird why more established domains and pages aren't showing an increase.
