Exchanged links, and lost a PR point why?

After reading the info here, I spent several hours finding sites to exchange links with, http://canz.biz/links.php I added about 13 new links to our links page, not a lot I know, it's a slow and tedious process.

I did this about a week ago, and my pagerank dropped from 4 to 3 I just noticed today..... is it maybe because the pagerank of the links pages linking to Canz is low, even thou the PR of the actual site linking to me is higher..... you know how different pages have different ranks on some sites.....

Or is it just coincidence, and will sort itself out in time.

Any guru hints would be appricated. Especially for www.canz.biz

The PR has been updating for a few days now, so I would personally suspect that the PR change came into effect before you added the links.

As stated elsewhere, though, you shouldn't experience great PR movements through link exchanges alone, but as I would still personally advice using a link exchange program as part of a general SEO process.
