I have a doubt guyz about webmaster tool !

Is it necessary to add the beta version of a domain which is redirected from my domain via 301.Now the beta version is in live,and the webmaster tool tracking code is in my old domain ?

dude ... here is solution for you ..

go to your google webmaster account ..

now add you new website and new domain over there ..

you will get new code ..

just put that code inside every page .. insort all new task is there what you need to perform ..

Bob,

You should also tell WMT that your site has moved permanently. This is standard procedure when redirecting one domain to another. That way, you will be managing the new domain instead of the old one.

But is it necessary to add the new site to WMT since the old site which is (example.com) redirected to new one (beta.example.com) .But the fact that after some days it will be redirected back to example.com.

This is the situation am facing ,Any advice on this?

sounds new question for me which i havent tried also brother ...

but i think yes it is necessary because webmaster code tracks your website with domain name only ...

and once domain name changed code will work as per past domain ... still i will say not sure bout my answer because i havent tried it yet but with putting all new codes and all you can do it ..

oh that's good question!!! your old domain is moved on your lived beta domain.so generate new code for it and when code is generated it will give instruction regarding on that to insert generated code into our website root domain.
