PR & Anchor Text Or On-Page Algo?
If you could change the Google ranking algorithm, would you make it more on-page elements based? Or put even more weight on PageRank and anchor text?

I would take emphasis off of page rank and put more emphasis on the onsite content depth.

I think offsite factors should continue to contribute but maybe not quite as it is now. I am seeing some "wierd" backlinking that is making sites rank high that really makes 0 sense to the surfer.

I will be doing some tests on some sites in conjunction with our bud Bob, and will let you know what the results are.
