Skype does have very clear audio, the clearest I've heard yet, but it breakes up badly when I'm talking with a friend in Australia, and we usually end up having to use Yahoo. I don't know if it's "her" connection, or a flaw with Skype, or what but, I have talked with people in the Netherlands without a problem so .... I don't know ,,, I'm going to try out a new one tonight called "paltalk", I heard it was as clear as Skype. :-)

No catch, no spyware, no nothing. I haven't experienced a broken up call yet but you can only talk to other people that use skype.

That's the catch, only other Skype users. That's like saying I can only call users who have Verizon as their telephone company because I use Verizon long distance. |

Yah. But still, it is a nice tool! I dont know if Yahoo still does it but Yahoo Messenger used to allow you to dial numbers for free....
