Whats with google cache

Now from what I understand Google has moved to this trust ranking sytem. The more your site is trusted by Google, the more often you are crawled. Now my brother Aaron told me this, so I'm sure that it's fairly accurate. But whats killing me is google is crawling my url http://site.com/locations every 3 days. But it doesnt seem to be cacheing any of the deeper ppages like http://site.com/locations/arizona.html . With the site having high trust and being crawled every 2 to 3 days why isn't the deeper pages being cached? And the deeper pages have been up for 2 weeks

How often you are crawled and how deep depends on Page Rank I would say. High Page Rank usually means lots of IBLs, which means more ways for spiders to arrive at your site, which means more crawling when they get there.

Why in your case it means not getting cached, I don't know.

But up until last week, we had about 500 pages indexed, and then zoom! it went to 10,000. Right now we're up to 14,000. If, as I believe, it's just a case of sitting tight, getting more IBLs and trying not to worry too much about it, OK. That's what I did, it seems that it worked.

But if there's a short cut, like a link from Google's homepage, that would be good to know. Anyone?

I have inbound links, and it should have been crawled and cached when it crawls http://site.com/locations . Its not like they are that deep of pages...were talking 2 pages deep

Yeah, I figured since you're Aaron's brother it wouldn't be something obvious. You must have done a Google sitemap, I suppose. I doubt knowing the URL would help either. It's a mystery.
Hmmm.
I'll reel off the obvious thoughts that might help, just in case:
Different title and description on each page.
Pages reachable by several routes on the site.
Put a sitemap in the noscript on the homepage.
Several interlinked pages on the level that's not being cached.
Deep links to the pages not being cached.

No lightbulbs though. Maybe someone else has inspiration, not me at this point. Doesn't sound right, that's for sure.
