it is done on a per click basis, and it depends, some ads can pay up to $1 a click. Read More at https://www.google.com/adsense/

You might want to be careful talking about your adsense statistics. I'm pretty sure that doing so is a violation of the Terms and Conditions.

It is against the TOS if you talk about specific CTR's and Payouts that your ads are receiving. But you can speculate all you want.. haha.
Johan.. adsense has done very well for my site.

Judging by your stats and how much you said your Amazon programme makes you, I think you might have more luck with Adsense. I know I did

Sure did after MSN dropped them. Still, it seems a pretty desperate measure.

I have put on my test site and it looks very clean but shame you cant change the font from Ariel to the one that matches your site (like verdana).
I dont seem to be able to FTP but I am in no rush becase the US Dolla/$ is doing so poor over the British pound!
ie:
$1=£0.55

meh, the exchange rate will get better in a year or two.
Poor LookSmart, they're trying everything they can do before their reserve money runs dry.

Yes, that's the worse point about the AdSense - but it's merely a trade-off - domains and hosting from the US are now much cheaper.
Are you allowed to save up the Google AdSense payments until a higher exchange rate comes around, or is there a "cash within 30 days" stipulation?

Heh, I don't intend to wait that long. In fact, I've discovered that, if I'm prepared to put a lot of initial effort into certain key areas, I could make a full-time living from AdSense. I figure I may as well try and realise that as a significant form of subsidary income.

How many page impressions did it take? (or plz pm me the answer  )
At last I have stuck the ads up. I wish they opened in a new window and I failed to stick the JS into my standard .js file or change the font style into Verdana.
[EDIT] Wait a damn sec this forums google ads are in Verdana!!!!
I see I need another .css class
Ok how do you delete the URL showing. ?

Info an adwords
I have recently started Google's adword program. I did this because I was informed that it is part of the new Florida update algorithm. You will have a better natural ranking if you are paying for adwords. So far the opposite has happened for me. I was ranked #1 under "business cards" for the last few months. Since I have been paying for adwords my ranking dropped to #3...I think there is something major shaking at Google now.

Why would they do that.. they would drop your ranking. ppl dont see high relevancy results.. they go to the right.. see ads.. see what they want.. and click.. you now owe google money

Who the hell told you that and why would you beleve it? You can get all sorts of advice in forums like this and other places. It is caveat emptor all the way. You shouldn't even believe what I tell you without examining it, thinking about it, and seeking a second opinion. I may be ernest as hell, but dead wrong.
In the end only you can be responsible for what you do. If you follow bad advice that is your fault. Conspiracy theories are usually just that -- theories. Get a grip man. Use your head. Don't believe every BS theory and claim you read.
