Losing 100's of pages...Google problems

I launched 2 new sites early this week and by Thurs. I had 100 of pages indexed from one site and 40 indexed fomr the other. Now I check and i see one of the sites has just 46 pages and the other has 0 pages. The datacenters show some flux, but overall my sites have gotten decimated. I was getting some traffic but now none. Have I been banned from google? No shaddy tactics or anything, but anyone else see this happening?

What are the URLs??
If your sites are new, It happens. did you use XML site map for google??
did you check if your pages are giving any kind of error?? did you check if there are broken links on your site?? Do your sites have 'Under construction' sections??

Something tells me that the original numbers you saw might have been off. Seems like a lot of pages to get indexed for a new site in just a few days, though I'm sure it can happen.

Could you post the urls?

Also how did you determine how many pages were indexed? Your query might have been off. I think the Google site: operator hasn't always worked like it should which could also be the problem.

I've never had any site have that many pages indexed in Google in just a few days time.

Did you do anything out of the ordinary to accomplish that?

Thanks.
