Do you use Writely?

I think they are both nicely written applications and it is cool that you can do everything online from "anywhere in the world" (that has an internet+computer access ) but for soem reason I don't trust all my documents being hosted on a server somewhere. The server could easily crash and you might lose everything. I'd rather have the documents saved on my computer. I think there is an option to do this though but.......

Also the ThinkFree thing just looks like word. It's very impressive

That is why you can save everything on your USB stick .
If you do then you won't care if server crashes .

Where is the need to keep hosting your files on their servers? Couldn't you download those files whenever you are at home/office and using your own PC?

For me, Writely is a pretty nice tool for Road Warriors (travelling agents, sales people, etc..).
