It will never happened!
Yahoo still in business after Google appeared. If something appear better than Google, it will move Google a little, but Google still will be in business. I think they got enought money and power to bake their system better and compeete.

Google can be outdone. Yahoo and MSN both have the opportunity yet they continue down their road as they always have. Internet years are short fortunately giving us all a vision of frantic change. Domainers and Developers are becoming more and more financially powerfull each day, add drive and intelligence to that and you have a monster machine. Never say never, even to google. Some "Groups" of domain investors combined are valued more than the big SE's. All it takes is some effort and balls.

Just wait and watch! Google will keep growing and growing.... Watch their acquisition ratio. They again acquired a new company (today).

Many companies will have to give up because of Google. Or they'll have only one option left if they wanna stay in business.. and that'll be partnering with other companies.

Whoever develops the new technology before Google, will be bought by Google. Or Google will developer a similar, or better technology. No, really, what do you expect from one of the titans of the Net with all those PhDs sitting around?

Not everyone sells their babies, and google has failed on more than one occasion at building something with the intention to compete. With a rush of competition and creative minds, it can happen.. that's all im trying to say. I can garantee you would never try, as well as all the other google groupies i keep running across.
