Was the last google update good news?

Did anybody improve from the last google update? So far I am only hearing from people whose sites dropped.

But it does seem this is more the case for the newer site.

It was really bad for me too. This update was really unlucky for me. I was having strong pr 6-5 links with me. They all dropped.

some of my internal sites improved. I think it was a partial update.

I've been gone from google since Feb and have never rebounded, they killed me bad.

that's what life is all about linda. Never said u are killed. Take it as a challenge but just bash everything which comes in your way. Instead of saying you are killed, You should have a killer instinct.

Go Go Go for it linda and make 100% efforts to come on the top and atleast you should be happy that u made efforts in the past and never expect the results as it will reduce your joy.

I'm on a self imposed mini break, because it happened in Feb, and I work my tail off, changing pages, working on keywords, meta tags, image tags, etc. And nothing has helped. So I'm on a break for awhile and I'll come back with a new approach !

Yahoo says I have 267 and msn shows me having 367, last week google said I had 2, now its up to a whooping 5.

I used to have alot more in google but lost all of them with the last update. Someone told me that google was counting all links but now only counts either ones with a pr of 4 or 5 and above !

Back to step one UGH. I was doing some stuff for months and renamed all my pages from the stupid catalog.o.1.html names my old software gave the pages to, the likes of Linen-Postcards.html, which of course caused all the pr's on them to drop from 3s and 4s to zeros.

And who'd want to link to pr0 pages !! My home index page went from a pr4 to pr3 on the old google toolbar.

Okay, now I'm depressed again, gonna do a nice shot of icy cold raspberry vodka, CHEERS !!!

You just need a proper basic guidance. that's it.

1. Make pages with unique content.
2. Go for proper navigation.
3. Go for complete meta tags.
4. Go for unique Title Too.

That's the key to stay in google.

1.I typed all my pages by head, all original content.
2. I have site maps on all pages, all links last time I checked worked fine.
3. I have meta tags and meta descriptions on all the pages.
4. Each page has its own title depending on the content of the page.

See I give up ! Even all my images have tags, ugh !

Going to cry into my pillow now, buh bye !

But how many incoming anchor text links do you have?

Not that it really means anything, but for me PR went up as did the backlink count. So were the update to be important I'd have to say it was good to me. Of course the last one was kind of a wash so maybe I was just due.
