Crosslinking and Javascript

The discussion and solution to crosslinking is one I still think about. If I'm not certain of something, I try not to take risks.

If my 3 sites are in the same IP block and cross linking could hurt me if they are identified as affiliates, could I avoid crosslinking from being identifed by using javascript or flash.

My only reason for crosslinking is to make it easier for customers and myself. I could care less if it gave me a rank boost. For example, I have a photo album one one site and have links to that photo album from all my sites. I also reference my other sites in a link if it has some useful information for others to read.

I have read that spiders don't recognize javascript or flash. Would this protect me from my sites being recognized as crosslinked if google spider does not recognize javascript or flash? Also, besides flash and javascript, does JPG and GIF files fall in the same category as not being recognized as long as you don't put anything in the alt tag?

I dont believe google penalizes people for cross linking.. However, there are theories out there.. dont know.. I would use PHP and just not even mess Google up w/ javascript code.. but thats just me..

The potential de-valuing would only mean your cross-links would be seen as worth less by Google for calculation purposes. Your normal page rankings should not be affected.
